Help us support local food pantries in this time of increased need!

On the second Saturday morning of each month, members of our connect groups will be available at the entrance to Bethany’s Church Building to receive your donations to the local food pantries. Simply drive up, open your trunk, and we’ll retrieve your donation items.

Most donations are accepted and helpful, but please Do NOT donate: perishables or dairy items, opened products, or items with an expiration date.

Because of your generosity, we have already been able to donate thousands of pounds of food to local pantries; thank you for your ongoing generosity!

Our food drives are always the second Saturday of the month between 9am and 11am.

In addition to our Saturday drive-through events (which are low-contact), you may drop off donations to the church at anytime using the large donation bin available outside the church doors, or to the church office during office hours.

Also during the food drive (on the second saturday of every month from 9am-11am) we collect lightly used clothing on behalf of the Butterfly Closet, a local non-profit dedicated to alleviating clothing insecurity.

Helpful clothing is from newborn to age 18 ONLY, and should be either new or nearly new (clean, lightly used, no stains or fading).

For other clothing, stay tuned for a fundraising opportunity for our youth called the “Pauly Shed”.

A subsidiary of “Feeding America” is The Backpack Program, found in many  towns across the nation. Our church is partnering with the Berlin Department of Youth Services to provide weekend food for students in 5 schools. Bethany Covenant volunteers shop, donate, pack and deliver the bags weekly.
