The children’s ministry of Bethany Covenant Church exists to help kids ages infant-5th grade grow into lifelong followers of Jesus. We do this by helping kids:

The key to these things is an intentionally relational environment where kids can experience God’s love through the care of trusted adults and develop friendships with their family. All of our children’s ministry leaders are known members of our church family and have completed mandated reporter training and background checks. 

At Bethany, we believe that parents are the #1 predictor of kids’ spirituality throughout their lives. So we aim to support parents in their personal faith journeys and by resourcing them to model and facilitate faith conversations with their kids.

Childcare

Ages 0-4

Nursery and toddler care is offered while parents participate in the worship service, coffee hour, and Christian Formation time.

Children’s Church
Sunday mornings during the worship service
Grades K-5 

During the service, kids will be invited to a time of activities, videos, and discussions of Bible stories led by volunteer adult leaders. Kids will be ushered back to their parents in time for the worship songs during the church service. 

Christian Formation Classes
Sunday 11:00AM-11:45AM
Grades K-5

Our one-room schoolhouse style class teaches kids the big stories of the Bible, alternating Old Testament and New Testament, with a special focus on Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter with videos, cool crafts, and age-appropriate questions to get kids connecting the story to their life.
